How to Take Great Pictures of Children

Shutterfly put together a fabulous info-graphic about taking pictures of children, and I have been given permission to share it on my site. I thought it would be really helpful for parents trying to capture the perfect picture of their child. My kids are in constant motion, and to capture all the fun and chaos is sometimes challenging. Sometimes they don’t want to cooperate when I am trying to get the perfect picture. I am a student of the lens. I am trying to learn my camera. I am a mom. I am trying to learn my kids.  Photography is one component of this job as a blogger but also plays into wanting to capture the moments together as a family. When it comes to the camera, my husband is definitely more knowledgeable and skilled, while I am learning by trial and error as I go along. My husband and I both read this Shutterfly guide completely and walked away with some new ideas for how to capture the times with our kids. Whether you are a professional or novice, I think these 23 tips for how to take great pictures of a child will help you on your own photography journey.
