I am doing my own personal round up today with three chalkboard projects. These three projects use three different kinds of chalkboard paint. These are projects that have been done in the past but were featured at Wayfair. It was a huge compliment to be asked by Wayfair, who sells amazing home decor, to create a design post for them. I have another one on the horizon for them too, which I am excited to present soon. I’ll give you a hint: I featured one of their products to help in my most recent design pursuits in a recent Instagram post. Most of my usual readers know I am a teacher by trade. What you probably don’t know is that prior to entering into that major, I was studying interior design and architecture. So, while I decided that major wasn’t for me after working with kids as a camp counselor, I still have a passion for art and design. It has been a huge blessing to me to be able to utilize some of my passions in the arts to work on the blog, my kids and also provide some needs in this area around my church. Being able do projects around the home is another way what I thought would become a career has turned into a hobby. The three chalkboard paints featured are: clear chalkboard paint, chalkboard spray paint and an interior brush on chalkboard paint. Chalkboard paint has opened up a whole new world of possibilities in design. Martha Stewart has a variety of colors of chalkboard paint colors and Benjamin Moore can make it in any color. The clear chalkboard paint has so many possibilities. I know I have only scratched the surface.
