I’ve had a few people request to see some more of my cakes. So, today I thought I would show one of the two wedding cakes I have done. My sister asked me to do this cake for their favorite babysitter. Wedding cakes freak me out. I feel so paranoid about them falling apart in transport, although that has never happened. I did drop a cake once. Putting it on a tree trunk was a last minute edition that I got into my head and then couldn’t leave alone. When I couldn’t figure out how to get a slice of log in time, I had basically given up until I randomly saw these guys cutting wood on the side of the road. I had to stop, and they graciously cut me a piece. My sister also helped me make and decorate a couple hundred cupcakes to accommodate all the guests.
