This is not a sponsored post, but I did want to show you the product I used. I liked that this was a thicker tape. It was so glad that I really only had to do two wide to cover the entire container. You could use thinner tape too. I found this product on one of the end caps at Target. Seeing the tape is what triggered the memory that I had the idea of covering baby wipe containers in washi tape.
All you do is wrap the container in the tape. I started in the back and at the top and worked down. Because of the curved container, It took a little working with the tape to get it to lay as smooth as possible. There were a couple small spots with wrinkles, but it was really not noticeable.
I did strips along the top too, cutting along the length just over, so I could fold it around the lip.
I used an Exacto-kinfe to work the back edge of the top.
I made sure to line up the pattern as the strips overlapped.

Here are a couple other Washi Tape projects:

What a great idea! I have only just gotten my first few rolls of washi tape. It sure seems to make itself useful!! Can’t wait to find something to use it on:) (we are finally done with diaper wipes and diapers around here….:)
Thanks so much for commenting. I’m sure you’ll find something fantastic to do with washi tape. It is pretty fun stuff.
