Day #41 – Valentine’s Party

February 10, 2012 · by jodidurr · 12 Comments

One of my favorite things to do around the holidays is host parties.  Oriental Trading Company is a company that sells a bunch of items on the cheap.  They sell tons of easy craft kits.  The cost is very reasonable.  So this time we bought a Valentine Mailbox and a Love Bug Container.  I had let my children look at the catalog to pick them out.  They sell them in a pack of a dozen, so we always invite 12 friends over.  Today, I’m sharing some pictures from the party.  You’ll recognize that a lot of decorations come from our crafts this week.

 Heart Strawberry Skewers  & Cupcakes
Two ideas I had pinned on Pinterest – Oreo Pops & Candy Cane Hearts.

I miss having children around because we always had parties for their friends in the neighborhood – this looks like a fun and festive time for the kids!

You could do it for adults too. There’s always a reason to host a party.
