This popsicle stick name frame craft is easy to do and will be popular with your kids. The other day we received a package from Craft Project Ideas. Their products sell in Walmart. In the package we received the jumbo popsicle sticks and foam sticker letters. When I saw those, I immediately thought of this craft. We have done the monochromatic painting on top of letters in our family purpose statement craft, which was part of my inspiration. The same day we received the package we were having a couple friends over, and I thought this would be a fun craft to keep all the kids entertained. I had mostly preschool age kids that day, but elementary age kids would enjoy this craft too.
The jumbo craft sticks and a glue gun will be used to create the frame structure. This is the portion of the craft that I did without the children’s help. Simply use two sticks per side of the frame. When using a hot glue gun, it only takes moments to dry. I recommend prepping all of your frames prior to beginning the crafts with the kids.
Another thing you will need for this frame craft are the sticker foam letters. The kids will just pick out the letters that form their name and stick them onto the upper or lower edge of the frame.
The final step is to use craft paint to paint over the entire frame and letters. A couple of the kids needed me to help reach all the crevices with paint. I smoothed it out with long paint strokes too.
Here are my two bat girls who insisted on doing black frames. I was trying to encourage color, but they wanted black to match their batgirl persona.
The parents reported that their kids loved laving these frames and enjoyed doing the craft.

Love them with the buttons, and the bus is adorable!
Thanks so much! I’m glad you like these!
Thanks for sharing your wonderfully colorful ideas. I work with elderfolk and this easy to do, yet nice looking crafts will suite them and are easy enough for their declining dexterity! Thanksyou! Elaine
I love this. I have had people like you, who are caring for and loving on the elderly, find crafts on my site that are easy for elderly to do. I think this is another one that has been mentioned: https://meaningfulmama.com/diy-marbled-paper-shaving-cream.html – You can explore my craft tab for even more. This one comes to mind too: https://meaningfulmama.com/polka-dot-vase-craft.html – Thanks for what you do.
