How to Create Your Own Unique Baby Gender Reveal Party Idea
Each black balloon here contains white tissue paper – except for one. One balloon is filled with either pink or blue tissue paper, depending on the gender of the expected baby.
Perhaps you are wondering how to get the tissue paper into the balloons. Just as it takes for making a baby, it takes two to make this happen.
My sister-in-law, who came up with this idea, did try a funnel. It didn’t work.
Therefore, her husband held open the balloons while she stuffed the tissue paper inside.
Once filled, the balloons are then pinned to the tri-fold display board with an equal number of pink and blue map pins.
The “boy or girl?” display at the top was created on a Cricut. It could also be hand drawn with Sharpie if you are one of those individuals who has nailed font creation.
How is the baby’s gender revealed?
Everyone attending the gender reveal party draws a number. You will want one balloon on the board for each guest attending.
When it is ones turn to pop a balloon, have a blue or a pink pin to choose between. Individuals grab a blue stick pin if they thought it is a boy. Pink pins represent the guess for a girl.
I guessed blue for this gender reveal party. Keep reading to find out if I was right.
People will go in numerical order to pop a balloon of their choice. Hopefully, to prolong the fun, #1 doesn’t get the right answer. As you will see in the video, it took us a bit of effort to discover the gender of this new life.
Keep going until the confetti inside the balloon reveals the baby’s gender.
