Epic Dude Perfect Birthday Party
This year, we decided to join three birthday parties together. One person was turning 9, another 15, and another…um, mature. It was a family party, so we had to pick a theme that would appeal to all ages. The Dude Perfect theme ended up being a huge hit. Every single person, from age 4 to the grandparents, enjoyed all of the activities planned.
Dude Perfect inspired everything from the food to the decorations to the party games. I’m so grateful for a fun, safe, and clean YouTube channel that my kids have been able to enjoy. ‘

Decorating Ideas for a Dude Perfect Party
Decorating for this party relied heavily on our Cricut. The material list above should help you pick out what you need to recreate this party in your own way.
The Backdrop: The backdrop that grounded the whole party consisted of a black and white striped backdrop, a teal-based balloon arch, the Dude Perfect logo (DP), and stars cut out on paper by the Cricut. The stars were white pasted on a slightly larger black star. The DP was mainly black, mounted on a slightly larger teal DP.

The Centerpiece: The centerpiece of this Dude Perfect party table utilized the materials for the games as well as the birthday presents.
Black tablecloths grounded the design. Paper Dude Perfect logos, pandas, and stars surrounded the centerpiece.
The birthday presents were all wrapped in black-and-white striped paper. They became the base layers to display all the other materials used to decorate. If you don’t have presents that would work as the structure, you could simply wrap up different sized boxes in black and white paper.
We filled glass jars full of ping pong balls as part of the design. Other design elements included a pyramid of colorful dice, a jar of paper black-and-white straws, a pyramid of mini shot glasses with the DP logo in teal vinyl, a shot glass full of black popsicle sticks with a mini DP logo, both tall and short waterbottles with the Dude Perfect logo, rolls of toilet paper stacked in a pyramid, stacks of clear cups with the top four labeled with a vinyle teal DP, and target containers for one of the games.
In the chandelier, above it all, was our target for the water flip game.
The Dinner Table: We started the whole party with games, utilizing many of our decorations. Next came dinner, and we transformed the table. The centerpiece was removed, and the center of the table became filled with more Dude Perfect logos, stars, and pandas. Thank you, Cricut.
Each table setting had a teal plate, napkin, and cup. The teal plate was placed on a larger white plate that acted as a charger. A black vinyl DP was attached to the cup and placed in the center of the plate. The napkin was folded into a triangle, and a plastic fork was placed on top of it.

Food Ideas for a Dude Perfect Birthday Party
The main course was burgers. We couldn’t forget the infamous Dude Perfect Pringles, so a pyramid of mini cans provided both decoration and sustenance. Something healthy was needed, so a salad was added.
Dessert consisted of thick sugar cookies with a delicious buttercream frosting, and topped with teal, black, and white sprinkles. Also served was ice cream and a tasty ice cream bar filled with Butterfinger crumbles, Oreo crumbles, marshmallows, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, and caramel drizzle. In the cups full of toppings, we added the ages of all our birthday kids.

Game Ideas for a Dude Perfect Birthday Party
I came up with 12 game ideas for this Dude Perfect party after binge-watching some of the DP videos. While we weren’t able to get to all of the games, I want to provide enough guidance where you could re-create each of the 12 games…or pick and choose as we did.
For clarity, I took a lot of video clips so that we could demonstrate how the games are played. Where applicable, I will provide links to the concept on YouTube as well. See the video tutorials below.
Created for you was my party pack full of game instructions and score sheets. Links to this as well as the printable water bottle labels, can be found in my materials list.
Essentially, each game has an individual printable with the instructions. Part of that sheet provides a space to note and calculate scores. Final scores for each game can then be noted in the score tracker portion of the printable, and totals can be calculated at the end.
Also provided in the printable is a 100, 300, 500, and 700 point target for the game titled “ping pong trick shot.”
We created four teams of four players. You can form teams according to your party size.
In general, we tried to mix up what teams were competing head-to-head, and also what individuals were competing head-to-head. Teams were originally designed to have a good balance of age and skill level.

Game 1: Tic Tac Toe
Materials Needed: Ping Pong Balls (5 marked with an X and 5 marked with an O), 9 teal cups with a black vinyl DP on the outside and filled halfway with water.
Instructions: Everyone on your team takes turns bouncing the ping pong ball. Teams compete head-to-head. One member of team X bounces a ball, trying to land it in a cup. Next, a member of Team O tries to bounce their O ball into a cup. Teams winning tic-tac-toe three in a row score 300 points for their team.
Everyone should rotate through their team members. Since we had four teams, two teams competed head-to-head while the others watched, and then the other two teams competed against one another.

Game 2: Ping Pong Trick Shot
Materials Needed: Ping Pong Balls, 4 varying-sized containers, 100-700 printable provided, Tape
Instructions: Tape the 100, 300, 500, and 700 targets to varying-sized containers according to difficulty. Everyone takes turns trying to bounce or directly throw ping pong balls into the containers. Everyone gets 5 attempts, and scores are calculated accordingly.

Game 3: Go the Distance
Materials Needed: Ping Pong Balls, Tape Measures (one per team ideally), Mini-Shot Glasses with a teal DP on the side
Instructions: Everyone gets 3 attempts. Players can be given a distance away from the cup that is appropriate for their age and skill level. 3-6 feet of tape measure is appropriate. The goal is to roll your ping pong ball down the length of the tape measure and have it land in the mini shot glass. The plastic shot glass makes it more challenging, so you could use a glass one if you want to make it easier.
Teams can compete at the same time or take turns, depending on the number of tape measures you have. Every ping pong ball landed in the cup scores 300 points.

Game 4: Water Bottle Flip
Materials Needed: Target (100 outer ring, 300 middle ring, 500 inner ring, four corner circles labeled 700), mini water bottles with DP label (see materials list above for free printable)
Instructions: Everyone gets 10 attempts to flip the bottle onto the target. Bottles landing upright on the board, score. Points are determined by where the majority of the water bottle lands.

Game 5: Toilet Paper Race
Materials Needed: Roll of Toilet Paper (one for each team), Tall Water Bottle with DP Water Bottle Wrap
Instructions: Every team member races once. Unroll the toilet paper and place a tall water bottle on the end of the roll. Players will roll the toilet paper back to pull the water bottle toward them. Don’t break it, or you lose. If the bottle falls, run to set it upright and continue. The winning player of each race gets 300 points.
The length of toilet paper can be adjusted for the size and skill level of the player.

Game 6: Dice Stacker
Materials Needed: Stack of Dice for Each Player (we did 10 per player, which was overkill), Black Popsicle Stick with Tiny DP Teal Vinyl on End (one per player)
Instructions: Every team member races once. There should be one competitor from each team per round. Stack as many dice on the popsicle stick as you can in 30 seconds. The player with the most dice remaining on their stick at the end of 30 seconds gets 300 points.

Game 7: Cotton Ball Races
Materials Needed: Cotton Balls (one per player), Straws (one per player), Various Obstacles to Set Out on the Table
Instructions: Each team member will be able to race another team member once. The goal is to use your straw to blow the cotton ball around the obstacles and be the first to the other side of the table. Winners gain 300 points for their team.

Game 8: Nail the Bounce
Materials Needed: Ping Pong Balls
Instructions: One player from each team competes against players from the other team. Everyone gets 1 attempt. Bounce your ping pong ball across the table the number of times determined. The person running the game will say “one bounce,” and everyone will bounce it once on the table. If they get it right, they move on to “two bounces,” then “three bounces,” etc. The ball should bounce on the table exactly the number of times said. Get it wrong, and you are out. Catchers are on the other side, making sure the ping pong balls don’t go too far away, but they cannot catch them before it is determined the exact number of bounces has been achieved.
First place per round gets 300 points. Second place gets 100 points.

Game 9: Cup Stacking
Materials Needed: 20 (per team) – 18 oz Clear Plastic Cups Per Player – One Having a Teal Vinyl DP Logo Attached to It
Instructions: Every team member races once. Teams commit one player to compete against the players of other teams. 19 clear cups are stacked on top of one with a DP logo. Move the cups, one at a time, from top to bottom to move the colored cup to the top. The player who gets the logo to the top the quickest in each race and sets the cups on the table gets 300 points. Hint: Because the cups are clear, it’s hard to know if the logo is really at the top or if you can just see through the plastic.

Game 10: Frisbee Toss
Confession: We didn’t get to this game, so I had a little AI help generating this picture.
Materials Needed: Frisbee with Vinyl Black Circle and Vinyl Teal DP Logo, Kan Jam
Instructions: Every player gets 5 attempts. From a determined spot away from the Kan Jam box (depending on age and ability level), players throw a Frisbee toward the Kan Jam box. Frisbees that make it through the slot get 700 points. Frisbees that land in the top of the Kan Jam tube unassisted get 300 points. Assisted shots get 100 points. What’s an assisted shot? It’s when a team member stands next to the Kan Jam tube and knocks the Frisbee from the air into the tube.
Here is a YouTube video to help if you are unfamiliar with Kan Jam. Just to be clear, you won’t be scoring like a traditional Kan Jam game.

Game 11: Balloon Distance
Materials Needed: Teal Balloons (one for each player)
Instructions: Every team member gets one attempt. One team member from each team competes against players from the other teams each round. Get the balloon the farthest and win. You can blow up your balloon and try to bop it the farthest or snap it the farthest. You blow up the balloon and then just release it without tying the air in.
FIRST PLACE = 500 SECOND PLACE = 300. THIRD PLACE = 100

Game 12: Hair Dryer Hurdles
Photo: We did not get to this game, so I don’t have any pictures. However, here is an old picture of my baby, who was turning 15 at this party. So sweet!
Materials Needed: Hair Dryers (one for each team), Extension Chords (one for each team) Ping Pong Balls (one for each team), Obstacles (over chairs, under tables, around items)
Instructions: Players will race around, under, and over obstacles with a ping pong ball hovering over a hair dryer. One player from each team will race against one player from the other teams. The fastest to the finish line gets 300 points for their team. Everyone gets to race.
